Let me start by saying I do love the indoor shops the outdoor flea market was average at best and I bought a lot of produce because it looks good and the prices were good however two days after buying most of the produce had already began to rot

You can rent the pavilions. The sides can be closed in the winter. The Goodyear blimp is docked right next to the park. This is one of the great legacies of Goodyear, and it's wonderful that the former employee-only park is now available to everyone as a state park.

At Maize Valley, they make great wine...FUN! Great food, special events and award winning wines come together to make an experience that builds memories to last a lifetime. Hours vary depending on the season, check our website for more information.
Has to order and pay for food and wine from the front of the winery. It's very inconvenient for those who have several questions because others are waiting in line or if you would like to add on additional items. Several seating options inside and outside. Had options to purchase beer or wine but have to stand in seperate lines to order. Probably will return but not at the top of my list.

I hike or walk the trails here regularly. They have bridle, bike and walking trails. They walking trails range from wide open gravel paths, wooden boardwalks and narrow hiking trails. This a is place of calmnes, beauty and tranquility, as one would expect in the woods. I only wish I could hike to a lookout spot, but we are in NE Ohio. There is also a nature center that is great for hands on learning and exploring for kids. Our last hike we took the dogs and we saw deer and a big white owl.

Willie Wonka (either the Gene Wilder or the Johnny Depp version) would feel at home here. However, there are no oompa loompas in the Hartville Chocolate factory, just lots of chocolate treats, sugar free goodies, jellie bellies, etc. I liked the samples and the regulation NFL football that looked like it just rolled off the assembly line at the Wilson plant in Ada OH (see listing) that supplies the league. Tom Brady may or may not have taken the air out of some of the Ada products but if I was going to take a bite out of a football it would definitely be one made in Hartville. For the ladies who could care less about football, there are chocolate high heels and other concoctions. Parking is free on the street. It is okay to bring a baby in a backpack, but if your party includes anyone in a stroller or wheelchair you will have to be content with visiting their other outlet at the Hartville Flea Market as this main downtown store has a couple high steps and a heavy front door that is hard to close.

Enjoy the charm of the historic 1880s train station as you browse the hundreds of hand-crafted gifts by national and local artisans. From whimsical to military, featuring one-of-a-kind framed art, pottery, hand-blown glass, jewelry, photography, equestrian, military, aviation, civil war, Amish scenes by P. Buckley Moss and, of course, a great selection of train prints.
The Maple Street Art Gallery is easy to find as it is located in the old Hartville depot. As such, there is a fair amount of railroad prints and stock certificates for sale along with other fine art and custom framing service. The owner was friendly although I made it clear that I was just looking around because I had already blown my budget at other shops. Found a lot of interesting jewelry. This is not a place for a wheelchair, stroller, or smaller children because the walkways are narrow and full of fragile artwork.

Tazia gave me a great short style haircut. A wash and style is included in a very reasonable price. Appointment was on time and she was friendly and efficient.
