We loved visiting this place. All you heard from everyone walking through was " I had one of those". It was a trip down memory lane for our family which included our 22 year old. Toys from the 50's through current years. Truly a wonderful and fun place to walk through. The collections are outstanding and best of all it's free! Definitely a must see for young and old!

When you visit Simon Pierce you have several options on things to do. You can visit the store and purchase beautiful glassware; or you can stop st their bar and have a drink; or you can make reservations and enjoy an excellent meal. You can also go downstairs and see how the expert glass makers make the beautiful glassware they sell. These people are craftsmen. It is amazing to see them at their craft. As you walk around downstairs you can also go outside and see the beautiful waterfall adjacent to their property.

Vermont Spirits

Visit Vermont's Original Craft Distillery at the Quechee Gorge Village. The Distillery Tasting Room is open for visitors every day from 10 am until 5 pm. Sample the award winning vodkas, gin, bourbon, whiskey and seasonal brandy and liqueurs and learn about the distillation process. 2 miles off I-89, exit 1, and close to the famous Quechee Gorge.

This was a nice little stop while in Quechee. The mall had some shops near the distillery. Vermont Spirits is located at the end of the little mall. We were happy to find it open for tasting. The gentleman working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. We tried a few spirits. The most delicious one- Cassis - was out of stock and next batch was being made so we couldn't buy it just then. We tried the bourbon and vodka as well. We easily found a bottle to buy and bring home!

River Roost Brewery

Reviewed By souppc

My girlfriend and I visited here recently and were very impressed. Currently a small operation, but man do they have some great stuff going on. Their double IPA was one of the best beers my gf has ever had according to her, and she has tried many beers from across Vermont, including the alchemist. Highly drinkable, smooth, and flavorful profile. Nice job guys.
