Locals think of this 165-foot gap as "Vermont's Grand Canyon."
Visited Quechee Gorge on Fall Foliage tour and it was a gorgeous site. The Gorge looked beautiful with the fall colors and there is a trail that goes along the river if you are able be sure to take the short hike to the falls well worth the trip. Colors are beautiful and the falling leaves in the breeze so lovely!!!

Always a favorite with the many birds and exhibits, this location has really upped its game with its new CANOPY WALK through the trees. It is only 1 of 4 in the whole country and provides an amazing experience. If you are in the area, do NOT miss this place

Stayed here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend and it was great! Clean, quiet campground with central access to all the great sights in the surrounding area, including Quechee, Hartland, Woodstock, White River, etc. Would definitely stay again, as the sites were well laid out so that they were spread out, large, and private, so that you didn’t feel on top of your neighbors.

Nestled in the foothills of the Ottauquechee River Valley, Ski Quechee is one of Vermont’s best kept secrets. This family and beginner friendly ski area may be small in comparison to other well-known Vermont resorts, but the available amenities are grand in scale. There is truly something for everyone at Ski Quechee from an active sledding hill, top to bottom trails, horse drawn sleigh rides, ice skating pond, groomed cross country and snowshoe trails. When the sun goes down, the Club’s ever popular Apres Ski is hosted every Saturday through the season and features the best musicians in the Upper Valley. During February vacation week, the Valley boasts with traditional activities that include the Club’s annual Torchlight Parade & Fireworks and the Cardboard Box Derby.
