Locals think of this 165-foot gap as "Vermont's Grand Canyon."
Visited Quechee Gorge on Fall Foliage tour and it was a gorgeous site. The Gorge looked beautiful with the fall colors and there is a trail that goes along the river if you are able be sure to take the short hike to the falls well worth the trip. Colors are beautiful and the falling leaves in the breeze so lovely!!!

When you visit Simon Pierce you have several options on things to do. You can visit the store and purchase beautiful glassware; or you can stop st their bar and have a drink; or you can make reservations and enjoy an excellent meal. You can also go downstairs and see how the expert glass makers make the beautiful glassware they sell. These people are craftsmen. It is amazing to see them at their craft. As you walk around downstairs you can also go outside and see the beautiful waterfall adjacent to their property.

This was a nice little stop while in Quechee. The mall had some shops near the distillery. Vermont Spirits is located at the end of the little mall. We were happy to find it open for tasting. The gentleman working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. We tried a few spirits. The most delicious one- Cassis - was out of stock and next batch was being made so we couldn't buy it just then. We tried the bourbon and vodka as well. We easily found a bottle to buy and bring home!

Although Covid has shut down Cabot cheese tasting and the train ride, the antique store with its many venders is worth the stop to poke alone.
