Hanover is a town along the Connecticut River in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 11,260 at the 2010 census. CNN and Money magazine rated Hanover the sixth best place to live in America in 2011, and the second best in 2007. "This just might be the best college town," read the headline of a story in the January–February 2017 issue of Yankee.

The Hood has been renovated, and it is a beautiful re-design with an incredible collection of international art. The recent exhibitions have focused on exquisite Native American and "third world" art.

The campus is beautiful with a great deal of history. The shops and restaurants around the campus is great. The unique bridge from NH to VT is very unique. Being there during the fall is beautiful.

The Hopkins center offers a wide variety of visual and performing arts, available to the entire Upper Valley community, not just the Dartmouth College community. Outstanding shows, concerts, special events, movies, and more. Easy to buy tickets on one, extra clean and comfortable auditoriums.
