What a fantastic experience. Without giving too much away you’ll arrive wondering where on earth you have come, and leave wishing you could stay longer! Take along your favourite spirits and the talented bar tenders make fantastic bespoke cocktails, catering for all tastes. There isn’t a Mojito or Sex on the beach in sight! The intimate Art Deco setting is the perfect venue, a live singer added to the ambience and all staff were really attentive. Special mention to Harley, our personal cocktail maker - thanks for 6 delicious cocktails (apart from the one with Barcardi ????) Would thoroughly recommend Bring and Mix for a fun evening out.

The Wellington Arms is a traditional Real Ale House with up to 12 ever-changing real ales on at any one time and a wide selection of wines, spirits and ciders too. The kitchen serves up delicious homecooked food all week long at a reasonable price. We have weekly events running such as quiz night on a Thursday and live music every Saturday night, and plenty of other celebrations throughout the year as well.
It’s traditional for restaurants here to offer a Sunday roast plate. You just pick the protein. I had the chicken and my husband had the beef. Both were amazing. Best Sunday roast ever! Touring Duo

During a weekend away in Sutton Scotney, one of our group mentioned that she’d like to visit the Wonston Arms as she’d heard it had been rated best pub in the country. We therefore took a short walk up to the pub for a quick drink and agree, it’s lovely! Set back on a country road, it’s small and quaint inside but has a real charm to it. It’s clearly popular as there weren’t any seats when we got there, but even in the February cold we sat outside to enjoy our drinks (there were some heaters outside which helped!). Although we didn’t eat, we loved that there was a little street vendor van parked outside where pub goers were able to order Thai food and take it back into the pub. It was clearly popular! We enjoyed our visit and glad we made the effort to pop by for a quick drink - no doubt if we’re local again, we’ll be back.

The Tap room for CrackleRock Brewing company. Just across the road from the brewery. With 9 cask ales and 7 keg ales there should be a beer there for you. We also have a huge range of gins and vodkas - and like our beers, wines and spirits are all available as tasting flights if you just can't decide!
A lovely little real ale "tap room", warm and friendly, 4 of their own real ales, can be bought on a "paddle" if required , wines and spirits and lager!! Also available, very pleasant place to visit

I love this pub. My mate lives in Petersfield and we pay it a visit just about every time I visit. Every time I go in I love it a little bit more. We sat in the bar last night and the locals and their dogs made us feel really welcome and invited us to join in with their conversation. The landlord pulled a great pint, in my favourite keg shaped pint pot and the conversation was lively and the laughter genuine. We arrived at 18.00 and expected to leave at 19.30 to get home to watch the football but enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed until 21.00 when the pub closed. I cannot imagine going to Petersfield and not popping into this absolute gem. Just remember to bring your cash. It won't be for everyone but it does just fine by me.
