We had a lovely time at the gallery. My mum has visited previously and insisted I go back with her. Jenny was really friendly and welcoming. The gallery was a feast for the eyes and we spent well over an hour looking at everything. I could have happily bought many of the pieces. Would certainly recommend visiting if you're interested in any form of art and New Zealand culture.

Deciduus & Santie is a boutique gallery in Tirau, South Waikato showcasing the work of artist Santie Cronje and a curated collection of fine art, ceramics, photography and indoor plants. We proudly support handmade and NZmade. Visit us in the old red cottage midway up the hill.
Deciduus is a wonderful blend of art, plants and crockery, all made by NZ artists and beautifully curated by an artist called Santie Conjie who has amazing taste and the ability to create a space that is both exciting and delightfully peace-filled. I don't drive through Tirau without stopping here and usually leave with a little something!

Raglan Photo Gallery is open to the public, sharing a broad range of photography taken on the wild west coast of NZ, Raglan. Also showcasing other local artists such as Skateboards, home soft furnishings & jewellery.
Absolutely lovely photos of the Raglan area, with some spectacular surf photos. Well priced pieces, some of which can be bought unframed.

Open every day from 10am - 5pm. The Sculpture Park at Waitakaruru Arboretum is a unique art-in-nature experience with more than 100 sculptures along the 2km long nature trail. The park is set in a former quarry that has been transformed into a 17.5 hectare arboretum with more than 20,000 trees. We provide families with a range of ideas to make the most of their visit. This art-in-nature experience aims to inspire imaginations, nourish inquisitive minds, and provide for creative learning in an accessible wilderness environment.
We visited on our second visit to Hamilton as it fell on a Sunday. The park and arboretum is open on Sundays and bank holidays and features 100 pieces of very varying sculpture in terms of size and materials and placed among the beautifully set out arboreal pathways (more than 20,000 trees and shrubs) and around small ponds and lakes in a disused quarry. This is a family owned collection and is in my view an act of generosity on their part to the public and a real privilege to visit. There is a wealth of bird life to be seen and heard throughout the walk and the views of the surrounding countryside are lovely. In case you hadn't realised I absolutely loved it.
