Hamilton’s Creative Arts Centre in the heart of lower Hamilton In the heart of lower Hamilton, this former cotton mill complex built in 1900 is a prime example of adaptive reuse. The former site of the Imperial Cotton Co. has been transformed into a creative industries complex, with space for workshops, studios for artists and office space for creative professionals. Film and TV productions, photographers and special events are also drawn to the building by its unique aesthetic and its historic charm.

After Niagara Falls we wanted to continue our adventures! We came across these waterfalls after a couple minutes of research. You must have a car to get to these places. Also, keep in mind the grass/dirt; it will gets muddy at times. There are some hiking trails if you’re interested. If you stay in Downtown Toronto (on vacation) I highly suggest checking this place out.

These are the lighthouses, protecting the bridge, close to the lake. I often go to the Burlington Skyway. One day I found a lighthouse while my wife was driving. We were able to see these lighthouses. It was not hard. Robby G C These are the lighthouses, protecting the bridge, close to the lake. Here is how we can see these lighthouses. Heading north along the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) towards Burlington, Ontario, exit at Eastport Drive (exit 93). Drive to the the ramp, make a right to Eastport Drive. You will find the Burlington Canal Front Range Lighthouse. It is worthwhile!

Earls Court was established in 1973 by Bob Daniels and Doug Nixon as a print and framing gallery. The location was at 78 George Street in Hamilton's Hess Village. In 1977 the second floor gallery was opened and featured various printmakers from Open Studio in Toronto (Ann Meredith Barry, Jo Manning, Moira Clarke) and other local artists. In 1980 we moved to 105 George Street where we continued to represent and exhibit the work of local and Canadian printmakers (ie. David Blackwood). We also began to exhibit the work of local artists who worked in various mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolour, and mixed media. We continued at this location for the next 29 years until September 2009 when we moved into the current and much larger location at 215 Ottawa Street North in Hamilton. This location has a 1600 sq. ft. gallery and a 1000 sq. ft. framing facility. The main gallery space showcases the work of local and Canadian artists. We have approximately 9 exhibitions a year.
