Welcome to Kattuk Expeditions! :) We're located in the hart of Halifax, Nova Scotia, at Fisherman's Cove. Our 200 year old working fishing cove is the gateway to Halifax Harbour's McNab's Island Provicnial Park. Sea Kayak tours run twice daily and bike rentals are available 7 day per week. Come for a paddle or bike the Salt Marsh trail. Daily kayak tours include the Sunset Kayak tour to McNab's Island and the McNab's Island Explorer tour. Tours start at $55 + hst, Bike rentals start at $25 for 4 hours. Other tours include guided walking tours of Sable Island, flight and lunch are included.

We are a stand-up paddle board and kayak rental business located out of Long Lake Provincial Park in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Long Lake is the centre piece of Long Lake Provincial Park, a 5000+ acre wilderness oasis that borders on the edge of Halifax’s urban core, only a ten minute drive from downtown Halifax, and central to the entire city. Long Lake was the City of Halifax’s principal water supply from the mid 1800’s to the 1970’s and a result it has always been protected from adjacent development that could negatively affect its water quality. The result is a 3 km+ long lake on the edge of the city with absolutely pristine water and an uninterrupted, unaltered natural shore line. Long Lake is a great place to spend several hours of a day traversing the lake and exploring the many inlets, two islands and the old dam that created the lake’s current shape two centuries ago.

We specialize in professionally guided sea kayaking tours & lessons, and offer a full service equipment rental and sales program. Our fleet is one of the largest in Atlantic Canada, and features top quality boats and equipment from the world’s leading manufacturers. All of our guides are highly trained and nationally certified.East Coast Outfitters (E.C.O.)is a community based eco-tourism operator that has been Halifax’s premier paddling spot since 2001.
