The Takshanuk Mountain Trail puts you up close and personal with raw Alaskan wilderness. If you're looking for an activity that is a little more hands-on, hop into a Kawasaki Mule utility vehicle for a tour that climbs 1,500 feet through lush Alaskan forest. With a guide leading the way, you'll pass over meandering mountain streams and cruise past back country waterfalls, stopping along the way to enjoy crisp mountain air and snap lots of photos. You'll certainly want your camera handy when you reach the top of the trail because a magnificent overlook area provides a stunning view of Chilkoot Lake and the Upper Lynn Canal, North America's longest and deepest fjord. To cap off the experience you'll be treated to fresh baked cookies and our famous beer-battered halibut and roasted chicken meal at our exclusive mountain lodge.

Jon was great! We texted him a few days before we arrived to make arrangements for pickup at the ferry terminal. He drove us through town and pointed out all the great sites. The next day I couldn't find my favorite water bottle so we contacted him to see if we left it in the van. We did! He was so kind and delivered it to me about an hour later. We made arrangements for him to take us to the ferry terminal at the end of our trip. He not only picked us up, but drove us to see more sites before dropping us off at the terminal in time to get on the ferry.

We focus on bringing your family and friends out on the water in a beautiful private setting. Our fishing charters double as scenic wildlife tours and are fun for all ages. Our boat is comfortable with a big inside cabin, covered back deck, good bathroom and spacious seating on the top deck. Snacks, water and great coffee is complimentary. We have recently purchased a new touring van and can now show our guests the beauty of Haines by land. This includes various shorefishing opportunities, short hikes, beautiful scenery and wildlife viewing.
