We were just starting out: small, caring, kind and with a super soft spot for the city of Amsterdam. And we wanted to keep it that way. No big boats or big profits for us. All we want is to share our love for Amsterdam with our guests. As per European Regulation, the City Council is is supposed to open the market for passenger-boat-tours and to come up with a new policy to assign permits. They failed with making a proper policy in 2017 and were sent back to the drawing table as per court order. However they are slow... It's been taking almost a year and it's supposed to take until Spring 2019. Until then, no permits are handed out. That means that we, as a small starter, can't conduct boat-tours as we applied for, but got trapped in the policy failure of the city of Amsterdam, to receive a permit. So, if you wish to see the city from the water, you will have to go with a big company (and they're all bigger than us, even though they might appear small. Don't be fooled). Have fun!
