A delightful, colourful little 13 th century church, colourful and reminiscent in many ways of (although smaller than) the church of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, it was originally fortified. The layout is unusual and shows its maritime affiliation from centuries back. It is well worth doing a Wikipedia search before you visit the church and also the castle above it in this very old part of Gruissan.
