TREE TOP WALKWAY - This is an amazing tree top walk on an excellently built structure and easy to access. Part of the way along the walkway there is also a tower which is about 40 metres above ground level and by climbing up this you get an even greater view of the native forest and you can look out upon Lake Mahinapua. Lots of birds in the trees and back on the ground we saw several Weka's which were amazing to watch. Beautiful countryside and so peaceful.

A friend and I saw this online while looking for something to do while in Greymouth. Although it wasn't cheap we were pleased that we went. Our guide was lovely and lucky us we were the only ones at that time. It ws great fun even the slipping around in the mud. We would both reccomend this to any one interested in giving it a go. You won't regret it. They picked us up and dropped us off at our motel free of charge - bonus!

Visited a couple of times when we were in Greymouth, and it was great to come in to a roaring fire when it was nippy outside. The first meal (lunch) was OK - a reasonable salad, while dinner the next night (fish and chips - with gurnard) was pretty delicious and generously portioned. Great to have their beers on tap too, though quite a few of the top-end ones were out of stock. An easy walk from the centre of town, and spacious inside. Worth a visit.
