Stopped in at MacLean's after having tried another nearby brewery and receiving sub par service. The experience here was a complete 180 - the other brewery looked dated and stale, and despite waiting 10 minutes, no one came to help us, so we left. We intended to stop in at MacLean's as part of our trip, and just ended up there earlier, which turned out really well as we got to sit and enjoy some beers and great conversation with Quinn. What a character! He gave us the low down on all of the beers we had, and threw in some great stories. Would most definitely head back to MacLean's when I am in the area.

Start your day at Coffin Ridge with a wine tasting led by our knowledgeable staff. From there you can retreat to the deck for a glass of wine and our vintner's plate made up of local artisanal breads and cheeses which have been specifically paired with the glass of wine you are drinking. Relax, listen to music and enjoy the Coffin Ridge experience.
This place must be one of Ontario's best kept secrets. We went when we were in the Meaford area. We each had a flight of wine and cider and a Vintners plate. The food and wine was delicious, the servers helpful and the views from the patio stunning. We bought cider and wine to take home. Better than many Niagara wineries we have been to.

We invite you to discover the beauty of our vineyards and taste distinct cool climate wines made from the grapes grown on the vines overlooking Georgian Bay. At the winery tasting room you may choose to taste any four wines available at the tasting bar. Spoil yourselves with a Wine & Cheese Tray, starting with a welcome bubbly followed by a sampling of three wines paired with three artisan cheeses. Open year round Wednesday to Sunday 12 – 5pm.
Pleasant surprise in the Blue Mountains. The wine was very good and the tasting was a fun experience. This is worth a visit.

We produce hand-crafted hard ciders in small batches from select varieties of heritage apples grown in our own orchard or supplied by local Georgian Bay apple growers. Our cidery and tasting room are housed in an historic post and beam century barn. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating is provided to enjoy our cider by the glass, paired with artisanal cheeses.
Stopped during Ciderfest. Enjoyed the cider tasting and took home a delicious apple cranberry cider. Staff was knowledgeable. Location was beautiful.

Located on a picturesque hilltop near Ravenna, Ontario with stunning views of Georgian Bay and only 20 minutes from Collingwood and Thornbury, The Roost vineyard and winery is a fantastic place to experience cold-climate wines in a spectacular setting. The Roost is about bringing friends and family together in a beautiful and relaxing setting, allowing them to dream away an afternoon or evening - accompanied by a glass of wine of course! Reservations are required to visit the winery. Please book through our website.
We had the loveliest time at this winery - a hidden gem in the area. Their attention to detail is evident everywhere, including pandemic protocols that put us at ease for an indoor wine tasting in their beautiful restored barn/tasting room. Moreover, when dark storm clouds rolled in and we received tornado warnings on our phones the owner graciously moved everyone downstairs to wait out the storm and do an impromptu winery tour. The wines exceeded our expectations and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive. And the cheese plate was so good! Highly recommend.

Outstanding beer, brewed with the spring water running under this, the first brewery ever built in Upper Canada (from their website). International prizewinning beer. Go now and go often, while you can, maintain strict social distancing but buy it there, at peak freshness. Worth it if you love beer. The owners (originally from the north of England) are selling. Lovely people to get to know, but don't expect shmarminess. This is the real deal, all around.

My new husband and I are in town on a mini honeymoon for a few days. My family really enjoys cider so I was very excited to see the process. Sadly, the business is not open for tours. We decided to stay 7and try the tasting menu and I am so glad we did. Our flight today included honeycrisp, cranberry, blueberry-elderflower and blood orange ciders ($10 - great selection and totally worth it!) We additionally tried the raspberry and rose ciders ($8ish for a pint). Our personal fav was the cranberry. Our server knew qe had just had lunch and because the place wasn't busy, let us just sip and lounge for a few hours.
