"Come enjoy a beautiful horseback ride where your likely to see Elk, Deer and Turkey along the trail with views only seen on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. We are open year round and also offer sleigh rides during our winter season."
Spectacular scenery, varied terrain and great horses. We rode through pine forests and quaking aspens, mountain meadows filled with flowers, forded creeks, and saw lots of wildlife. It just does not get better than riding with Snowy Mountain Stables. Kicker & Megan are wonderful hosts, fun and accommodating. Can't wait to return, maybe for fall foliage or snow and a sleigh ride.

Sunrise Park Resort is Arizona’s Premier Recreation Destination, offering the most ski runs and acreage in the state. We offer skiing, snowboarding, ski bikes, and have lessons available for all ages. In the summer, enjoy zip-lining, downhill mountain biking, archery, disc golf, and more!
If apache peak is open when you go, be sure to ski there. Apache peak has beginner, intermediate, and expert trails. Some people don't even know that it is part of the ski resort because it is kind of hidden. To get there, take the lift to the top of sunrise peak and ski going straight down the other side of the mountain mountain.
