This state park has it all: a swimming area, boat launch, and a hiking trail. It’s one of the prettiest swimming areas I’ve ever seen...what a view! The park is dog friendly too, except for the swimming beach.

Reviewed By garysU390RL - Steep Falls, United States

The Moosehead Lake Region Visitors' Center is located adjacent to the Katahdin boat ride attraction. It is nice little museum that offers some history about the region. There are also public restrooms available for use as well. The Visitors' Center is a good way to orient yourself to the region.
