Tuttle Orchards

The year round farm store offers a selection of produce, local and gourmet groceries. The farm also hosts seasonal events and tours. Fall activities include apple picking, pumpkin patch, corn maze, kid's farm play area and more.

Tuttle Orchards is my clear "go-to" in Hancock County for the best in produce! I love in-season sweet corn but have learned that the consistency of Tuttles' corn is so high that growing it in my garden is folly. All corn in season comes from Tuttles. They win many categories in the State Fair each year for their produce. Their programs are always fun and interesting. Load up the kids (or your appetite) and head to Tuttles! You can't be disappointed.

The Pecan turtles are the best I have ever had. You have not enjoyed a turtle until you have these. First they are huge and filled with smooth rich caramel. Not the hard stuff that breaks your teeth. This is full of golden caramel flavor,...MoreJanet, Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know how we are doing. I am glad that you enjoyed the turtles! We think they are pretty special too! Hope to see you soon.

James Whitcomb Riley Old Home and Museum

Reviewed By Thomas M - Newburgh, IN

The home that James Whitcomb Riley lived in as a boy, it is a surprisingly interesting place to visit. A must see if you are a Riley, as well as a Little Orphan Annie fan. The home had changed hands before the City of Greenfield was able to purchase and turn it into a historic site, so some of the furnishings although from the time period, are not original to Riley's family. But many family items have been found and returned. The tour guide is very knowledgeable. If there are young ones in the group, the guide may tend to direct the presentation towards their age level, but we didn't mind as it was a way to keep their interest. Nice gardens with various related themes to Riley's works located on the site.
