Great farm. The owner was super nice and gave our group an interesting tour on historical and modern olive oil production. We had a small oil tasting. The product is of exceptional quality and very reasonably priced. A must stop when traveling the area.

Agia Marina Donkey Rescue Sanctuary

As a Greek Registered non for profit charity Sanctuary we rescue old, unwanted and abandoned donkeys from Crete and other Greek Islands. On average we have about 25 donkeys... Visitors are welcome to come and visit, you may mingle with the donkeys, groom, stroke, cuddle and get the know these beautiful affectionate and intelligent animals. Children may enter under supervision of an adult. We do not have an entry charge but have a small shop selling interesting donkey items which you are welcome to buy and/or leave a donation to help us feed and care for these beautiful creatures. We do not allow smoking at the sanctuary in case of fire risk and do not have toilet facilities due to water shortages. Please note that we are closed during the winter months from November until April, but if you wish to visit please call us or send a message on FB and we can arrange a time.

You will walk into our cool garden with trees and vegetables. I will guide you through my private collection, where I'll show you the secrets of honey production and other agricultural products from both past and present. Finally you will taste the products of my little farm and traditional sweets with honey from my bees, which with the help of my mother, will be prepared in front of you. Klio the beekeeper

20 minutes from Delphi, on the edge of a HUGE valley of olive trees and wild thyme, there is a wonderful place called Moka Honey. The mission of the two amazing men that run this apiary is to educate and bring awareness to the importance of bees in our world. We learned so much more than we could have imagined! This was a highlight of our trip to Greece and I highly recommend this experience to ANYONE visiting the region. The only cost was 8 euro per adult, which buys you a jar of some of the most delicious, raw honey you will ever eat. You will want to take home as much of this wonderful honey as you can! Please, do yourself a favor and put this on your list. What an unexpected and unforgettable experience. ❤️????
