Check out our Homestead - a rustic resort style of accommodation, blending the comforts of modern living with the simplicity of yore. This luxury resort styled Homestead was completed in 2005 and takes a commanding position on the 40 acre vineyard. The Homestead comfortably sleeps 8 across the 4 suites. Our cellar door is open for tastings 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm. Tamburlaine was established in 1966. In 1985 the Hunter winery was purchased by a small group of friends and relatives led by Managing Director and Chief Winemaker, Mark Davidson. Mark has built his long-term winemaking philosophy around Contemporary Organic practices in the vineyard and the winery. After challenging years of research and development, we have become one of Australia’s largest producers of organic wines with vineyards in the Hunter Valley and Orange region.
