We are open all year round, Mondays for Pony Club training and events, Tuesday - Friday daytime and evenings 9am - 9pm, Saturday - Sunday 9am - 7pm. New Horizons is a purpose built 70ft Narrowboat. She is equiped to take people with disabilities on trips on the canal. She was launched in 1981 and is currently in her 40th year of cruising. The boat has a lift to enable people with mobility issues to enter the main cabin and a fully accessible toilet. Trips are available from April to October, morning, afternoon, all day and in the summer months during the evenings. The trip can go either towards Poynton or towards Whaley Bridge dependant on the requirements of the party or at the skippers discretion. All parties must have at least one person who has a Special Educational Need, Physical or Sensory disability, Speech Language or Communication Need any age related need, eg mobility assistance. All needs covered by the DDA including medical are covered. Our current clients include, local support groups, church groups, care homes and families. See us at Local festivals throughout the year.

We offer canoe, kayak, Stand Up Paddleboard trips on the river Mersey in South Manchester, and on canals in and around Manchester. Based in Worsley our family run company operates cruises along the historic Bridgewater canal from Worsley village, Boothstown, Sale, Dunham Massey and beyond. Francis Egerton is a luxury wide beam passenger vessel that can accommodate up to 32 passengers. Fully central heated it enables us to operate all year round. Private charter is available for groups whether it be a special birthday, anniversary, hen party, wedding, corporate event, coach tour or just a group outing. For individuals we offer our very popular Sunday lunch and Afternoon tea cruises which depart regularly throughout the year. Disc Golf has arrived in Greater Manchester! Manchester Disc Golf along with Trafford Council, The Friends of Longford Park and DUFFA have installed a new FREE-TO-PLAY 18-hole disc golf course in Longford Park, Stretford, Manchester. Thanks to funding from Veolia Trust, Thrive Trafford and a crowd funder, there are 18 permanent baskets (aka 'holes') on the course. There are both beginner-friendly and pro tee pads - so fun for all the family! The course is now complete and discs can be hired from the local café (please check the café opening hours and ensure you have enough time to play before heading out if hiring discs!). We can accommodate schools, youth and adult clubs, corporate events and stag/hen groups - please contact us for details.
