The Croydon Creative once again invites cinema-goers to join 'Lost Format Society', a rooftop experience like no other. Film-lovers will be able to immerse themselves in some of cinema's greatest works while taking in the stunning views of South London's skyline from the rooftops of Croydon. After last year's highly successful run as Croydon's first and only rooftop cinema, The Croydon Creative are returning with an extended season of films, an exciting injection of funding, a brand new venue and the same passion for cinema, top quality entertainment and the very best food and drink. With a wealth of experience now behind them, the team are taking over a new venue at NCP Fairfield Car Park and prolonging their run over the summer, screening classic and modern greats such as Labyrinth, The Martian, Pulp Fiction and Jurassic World.

The David Lean Cinema offers the best of British and World cinema, as well as classic re-releases and recent favourites. The 68 seat cinema housed within the Croydon Clocktower complex is run by volunteers and screens films on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This is an excellent little cinema in Croydon's town hall building, generally used to screen films that you can't watch in the nearby big multiplex. Seating is limited, so it pays to book in advance which can be done online or in person. On some of the recent screenings I've been to, they have shown short films made by BRIT Academy students before the main feature, and on my most recent visit, the short film was followed by a quick Q&A with the director. Other innovative ideas are also tested out, including Q&A's and Skype conversations with feature filmmakers, 'babes in arms' screenings and Alzheimer's-friendly viewings. There's also a small bar area in the entrance lobby where drinks and snacks can be purchased. I really like this place and I'm glad it was brought back from the brink by the campaigners and volunteers who keep the place running.

Advisable to go on Tuesday, tickets are very cheap! Screens have been always clean so far. Food choice is okay.

Went here for a date night. A cinema with sofas as seats, where you can drink and eat with loved ones. Small food menu, but excellent food and a good selection of wine and alcohol, and everything is reasonably priced. Staff are very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Three weeks ago I went to see a film with a friend and being a special occasion for us we splashed on buying the sofa seats. It was wonderfully comfortable experience the film was good too. Having said that I am sure we would have been fine in the more economic seats. Everything is so much nicer after the refurbishment. Well done.

Love going here. Great value for money, friendly. I thought the safety measures put in place made us feel that we could still go out safely. Liam neeson helped! Great job guys.

Watermans is West London's leading arts centre. We are an independent cinema showing recent films from just £5. We have a 239-seat theatre with a regular programme of children's theatre and special events, and have a year round new media arts exhibition programme in our Gallery. And lots more! The Guru Tandoori Kitchen serves freshly made Indian food, and the bar serves fresh coffee and tea, wine, Fullers beer and light Indian bar snacks. Our ethos is to inspire all communities through the Arts, and we hope you'll enjoy your visit with us. .
I can't recommend Watermans Art Centre highly enough, I have been going for a long time now and I'm always amazed at their ability to book exciting and fun events for people of all ages. The staff are friendly and welcoming and it's a great day out for the family, wether it's having a coffee by the river, watching a film, or having your mind blown by one of the many exciting events, Brentford is made all the brighter by this beautiful bastion of artistic expression.

The Arthouse is a cinema overflowing with character - it feels like a familiar club for film lovers . The salles are intimate and I love the seats - old style with extra cushions if you need them . The bar has a selection of really affordable snacks and food which are put together by hand from individually sourced ingredients . The film selection is a barometer of quality world cinema and I am always confident about their choice . And the live screenings mean I still have the intimate experience of missed plays and performance . I can go to the cinema solo or with friends - which I do regularly . Someone said there is a need for refurbishment - I think they are missing the point a little .If you want to recreate the experience of community film watching in a very personal and lovingly recreated and rather nostalgic environment this is it !
