Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

Escape the Room is a fun, real life game taking place in an office in Midtown, New York City. While it looks like any other ordinary room, it's actually a mystery puzzle. Find the clues and solve the puzzles to earn your freedom and "Escape the Room." You have 60 minutes, so be quick! Come with your friends, family and coworkers and have a great time.
After doing many room escapes around New York city I would say Escape the Room is my favorite. Pros: Many room escapes seem to cater to the masses but these puzzles are challenging even for experienced escapers. Most of their rooms have many twist and surprises making these rooms feel big and make the 1 hour feel longer. The newer rooms have upped the quality of the set design and are very high tech and well crafted. Cons: If you care about set design or atmosphere some of their older rooms have fairly basic design. Some puzzles can feel unintuitive but there are usually hints if you get stuck.

Came with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. Shamari was our host/clue giver, and he was so nice! Didn't give us too many clues, but when he did they were really appreciated. I would recommend going to the bathroom before getting there. Once you buzz, the game begins! You walk up the stairs and right into the game. I really like this aspect, it made the room spookier to have no one greet us in person. (We met Shamari once we finished the room). I love escape rooms, and this one doesn't disappoint. Really great set design & overall atmosphere. We were a group of 7, but I think 4 might be perfect.

New York City’s premier kids-only escape room. Mission Solvers offers thrilling and exciting escape room games for kids, specifically geared towards younger participants ages 8-14 Our games have participants race against the clock to complete challenges and puzzles, manipulate objects, and open locks.
We hosted a birthday party for our eight year old along with five of his close friends. They navigated the School of Magic room with glee - and great success - completing it with five minutes to spare! The Mission Solvers team was prompt and professional throughout. I recommend it highly!

The Stand comedy club and restaurant located in Union Square, considered by many the heartbeat of New York City brings you the best comedians working today with delectable dishes and unique cocktails to match. New Yorkers can now enjoy great comedy seven nights a week paired with our food from Executive Chef, Harold Villarosa. Our bi-level venue provides patrons with the option of having dinner and drinks before and after a show guaranteeing an experience like no other.
I was in town for one night for business, and although I should have gotten rest for my meeting the following day, I decided on a last-minute whim to go have some drinks and see some comedy. I had heard a lot of good things about The Stand from listening to podcasts with various NYC comedians. The Stand completely delivered in all respects. I happened to be in town on a Monday night - unfortunately, no LoS taping that night, but there was a free show hosted by Kerryn Feehan and Aaron Berg that night. Even though it was the free Monday show, I knew most of the lineup and there were a couple of surprises in the mix. Every comic was funny - I had a great time. Service at the bar was also friendly and prompt. One tip - lacking creativity, I ordered a basic drink where the name is in the format of "[mixer] and [drink]." I immediately got the sense that the bartenders were of the higher-skilled variety, such that my order seemed off putting to them (probably correctly - again, lack of thought and creativity on my part). I would recommend not doing what I did, but rather engaging the bartenders and letting them use their skills. Although the menu looks really good, I did not have any food this time. Hopefully my next trip will be less whim-based and I can actually plan out a dinner and show in advance.
