Can you imagine a better way to discover the 400 year old canals of Amsterdam..? On board of our beautifully restored saloon boat Salute and classic sloop Style you will experience Amsterdam in style. Our captains will also be your guide and they have years of experience on the canals of Amsterdam. They will take you to the most beautiful spots: admire the imposing Amsterdam Canal houses on the Herengracht Canal in the Golden bend, enjoy the wide Amstel River, the Skinny Bridge, the Intercontinental Amstel Hotel and Royal Theatre Carré. Our boats are 100% electric, so you won’t hear or smell the engine.

Our Early Morning cruise is a wonderful way to start your day in Amsterdam! If you can't make it this early, we have a good alternative in the afternoon; Cruise Like a Local. Captain Dave and his crew are passionate about their city and clearly enjoy sharing their knowledge and humor. When in Amsterdam you will see many tour boats on the canals of Amsterdam, most of them appear large and impersonal on a very set route/schedule. Our boat is small and intimate and very comfortable; roof can be on or off depending on the weather, we provide drinks and snacks, blankets and heated seat cushions (so great on a cool morning!). We point -with a personal touch- out many historical and architectural insights about the city as you float through the canals.

The St. Nicolaas Boat Club of Amsterdam is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of historic boats on the Amsterdam canals.Founded in 1997, the stichting (non-profit club) has given boat rides to thousands of people. This is a unique opportunity to see Amsterdam from the perspective of a historic open-air tuindersvlet. These boats were traditionally used to carry agricultural products to markets. They were also used as general barges to shuttle materials around cities.Tuindersvletten are not glamorous boats, but they are perfect for the canals. These are the iron boats on which the city was built. They are characterized by their low sides and flat bottom. They are great for carrying vegetables, cows, bricks, and now... people.
