We travelled to South Africa in February 2021 and originally toyed with the idea of just using Ubers to travel around wineries. At the last minute we asked our hotel for a recommendation for transfers from Cape Town and they recommended Carlo and Silvertree Tours for transfers and wine tours. Carlo also handled picking us up/dropping us off in Cape Town for our two nights in Stellensbosch and even decided to have us stop at a brewery on the way to our hotel instead of doing a simple door-to-door. From that moment - we knew we were in good hands! Not sure how long we wanted to commit to wineries on the day of our wine tour, we used their chauffer service which is hourly vs a set schedule... and then had SO MUCH fun with Carlo I think it was 9 hours later he dropped us off at the hotel! Carlo is awesome - he knows a ton about wine, and picked out wineries based on the kinds of wines we told him we liked. We didn't have a pre-conceived list of places we wanted to go and just asked him to pick his favorites! We also stopped at some breweries which my husband loved. His love of the area, his wonderful sense of humor, and his clear positive relationships with the wineries in the area made the day a very special day and one of our favorite memories of our time in South Africa! I highly recommend using his services - they also provide tours in the Western Cape including the Cape Point tour and so forth. When I go back I will definitely be working with him to take care of us again! Thank you again for the wonderful day Carlo!

We went on the Riviersonderend Kloofing hike. What an absolutely great experience. Our guide, Brendon, made sure that this was an unforgettable day. He was funny and made sure that the hole group was at ease when it came to the jumps. As mother I was nervous letting my boy do these jumps, but thanks to Brendon, the nerves quickly faded to the extend that I can not wait for the next Kloofing hike. I would definitely recommend this hike and don't worry to much if you are not that fit. Brendon is a patient and accommodating guide. Thank you for this great experience and the excellent service received from Cape Adventure Zone.

Travelers should book with us because we have been in this business for more than 25 years. It is our experience and astute decisions to craft such transfers which has led us to be where we are today. We use the best tourist guides who are mature and also born and bred in South Africa. They have passion for their work and they do have a great sense of belonging hence they look after nature which in turn looks after us. Our vehicles are among the best in the industry as we use luxury minivans for this transfer. We also listen to the travelers and are prepared to stop anyway along the way as per traveler's requests. This is mainly for a photoshoot as long as it does not compromise other road users. Last but not least safety of the travelers is our topmost consideration. This tour takes them to Hermanus one of the most scenic coastal town in South Africa. Travelers also visit the penguins at Stony Point with over 3 600 penguins.

Inclusions: Pick up from your hotel and drop off after the round trip transfer, Air-conditioned vehicle, Registered and Accredited Tourist Guide, Bottled water

This may be a great tour except for the fact that we had payed 3 months in advance for it and because of covid we had to cancel the trip to South Africa. About 2 months before the trip we contacted them asking for a refund and it was agreed on a 90% refund since we were cancelling with over 72 hours of the tour, so we waited and nothing was done about it, we contacted them again and they said "they were sorry" but that was it. We are not asking for anything but our right based on their policy, but it seems like they are not too worried about keeping up with their side of the deal. In case they decide to do what is right we would update this post, but as of now nothing has been done.

Ivan is brilliant. His local knowledge of the history of the region is invaluable because I assure you that this information is not available in a mainstream history book. Everything from the building architecture to the local flora and fauna of the region. This made the tour enjoyable and interesting. Thank you!
