James, our guide, provided a thoroughly enjoyable and educative tour on well trained and well maintained horses, which accommodated different levels of experience to provide for a fun experience on the scenic Curracloe Beach. We will definitely return to Shrule Equestrian and I have already recommended him to to some of my friends.

A great Victorian house & gardens in the heart of Wexford Wells House has something for all generations to enjoy and share: Our two woodland walks; Lady Frances Woodland Walk & Mogue's, discover hidden treasures in a verdant landscape of mature plants and trees. Victorian Terrace Gardens - Relax in our beautifully restored formal gardens based on the original Daniel Robertson plans of the 1830's. Adventure Playground - Swings, slides and climbing frames, perfect for kids up to 40. The old stable block has been converted into the Craft Courtyard - an ideal shopping hub for crafts and unique gifts! The Living Victorian House Tour - Experience real life in a Victorian Great House through the eyes of Lady Frances and the residents of Wells House. Wells House Archery - Let the resident Archer show you how to shoot a bow at the only 3D course in Ireland. Mrs Stone's Tearooms - enjoy morning coffees, light lunches and afternoons teas. For that special treat try the signature cup cakes or irresistible fresh scones. Wells House is over 300 years old. It was built in the late 1600s by John Warren who owned more than 6,000 acres of land in the area. Note: Archery is by reservation Monday-Friday
We visited Wells House this weekend just gone - in the middle of the dreadful pandemic. Firstly they have all the safety procedures down to a tee from queueing to social distancing and more hand sanitisers then you can shake a stick at! The grounds itself - excellent. 2 lovely wooded walks with loads to distract the kids en route. None of our 2 complained once on the walk and that's saying something! Great playground, nice coffee stop - loads of animals and archery going on as well as a craft courtyard. Very reasonable at 10 euro per car (not per person - so we paid 2 euro 50 each to get in). It's a great family day out - give it a try.

This is by far one of the best spa places I have been. The staff were well set up for social distancing. We both had a facial and it was just amazing. Worth paying the extra for. After yiur treatment you can stay in the relaxation room. We were so relaxed we nearly fell asleep. Loved every second

40 acres of gardens and woodlands at Marlfield House Hotel. Part of Wexford Garden Trail. Includes a small lake with wildfowl reserve (ducks, peacocks). Entry for non-residents is €12 and includes morning coffee or afternoon tea with dressed scones in the hotel.
A stunning setting. House is so beautiful inside with lovely sofas and comfortable chairs in an old-world atmosphere. Staff were very attentive . We had afternoon tea and everything was excellent. Lovely teas to choose from and there was just too much food. We had to bring some home. The scones were so soft and fresh. Lovely walks in the grounds afterwards. A real treat.

Wexford blessed with beaches. This is a gem. Parking can be difficult in the summer but once you get sorted and head for a jaunt all you worries disappear. Just a lovely place to go for a stroll - 2 separate beaches and so plenty to explore.

The first time we came in 2011, it was a hard place to find but then again, Game of Thrones was not such a hit back then. Since then we come each time just to see how it has changed. Now there are a lot of people walking the road and unless you are a local, you are not suppossed to drive thru but some idiot will always think it applies to everyone else and not them. 2 cars drove thru and one almost hit some walkers. The trees were there when my dad, born in 1891 was a kid in Ballymoney and this was a long Sunday outing for them and the grounds of Grace HIll. We have seen of the 10 doors carved from the trees that were hit by a horrid storm in 2015 and they are a wonderful way to remember the old, old trees - 350 yrs + Be respectful of the history of if you go. Offer to take pictures of families and watch their faces light up.
