A little haven for lovers of real ale, wine and still cider. No music, televisions, fruit machines or children although well mannered and sociable dogs are welcome. We have to close at 9.00Pm due to planning restrictions. Cobblers is a pub for "grown ups"

Was away on business when I stumbled on this gem, great locals feel but lovely staff and ever so welcoming, we watched all the days sport in here and made new friends in difficult times, I have to add it’s the safest pub Iv been in with Covid measures everywhere.

Thistledown Café and Campsite - award-winning camping and wood-fired food set in 70 acres of Cotswold AONB
This is a campsite. Recently camped at Thistledown Farm. First class experience. The facilities are very good and the staff could not be more helpful. I did have a problem finding the place - but that might be due to my 8 year old son's inexperience with satnav. The on site cafe is also excellent - food is great. I am not a vegetarian but my family and I ate veggie food in both visits out of choice because it was so good.

Cycle Hire close to Family Cycle Trail
We hired cycles for the day and leisurely paced around the 12 mile family track at mallards pike. The bikes were great quality with options to hire helmets and puncture repair kits as they are unable to retrieve you if you break down part way round. Covid Measures in place were fantastic. Booking request was completed online and time slots allocated for collection. Parking was in the overflow car park approx 5 mins walk away. The only glitch we had was finding where to get off the cycle path to go back to dean forest cycle centre. Great family fun and not too strenuous!!

Driving back from Cornwall to Essex I decided to take my mum for lunch somewhere more interesting than the nasty motorway services. So glad we bothered to drive a whole three minutes off the motorway into this picture postcard village and find this place I'd read about previously - character landlord and quirky locals - definitely and what a lovely bunch they are too! Lovely lunch, and cheap for what it was, this is a proper country pub serving proper old fashioned drinks and food, no corporate image here, this is home from home and what a find so near the motorway

An award winning Micro Pub & beer emporium that sells cask ales & craft beers. Local cider, wine and a large selection of spirits available including gin! We are an old fashioned traditional style pub but with a modern twist. Muddy boots and dogs welcome.
