Spinnaker Park is a beautiful spot right in the harbour. There are pathways right around it for walking and taking in the views. There are also lots of dedicated BBQ areas with electric bbq’s and table & chairs & some even have a roof over them. The gardens are all native and maintained beautifully and the large lawn areas. There is a netted swimming area with a small sandy beach, perfect for any age as it is sheltered from the elements like a small cove. There is also a restaurant in this area for breakfast, lunch or just a cuppa and all tables have a wonderful view of the harbour. The whole area is surrounded by water with the marina area on one side and the harbour on the rest. Well worth a visit at least!

Protected island that are best visited via guided boat tour. Absolutely heavenly white sands. Not all islands are open to public but some allow camping. A definite must while in this part of Queensland
