Great family business, very pleasant outdoor setting under vines; their farmers pizza with home made pesto was delicious, wine tasting service to table was superb, and local blues live music a bonus! Recommend it.

This is a great walk, allow time to soak up the view and maybe swim at the other end. It is up and down then up and down on the back. It was very hot when we walked so built up a sweat! Def take water with you. The views are stunning and worth the climb. You can walk a little way and just get to the lookout if you don't want to walk the whole way. If you climb around the rocks at the Hole in The Rock you can see the wharf.

The Gisborne railbike adventure is a totally unique side by side tandem cycle that rides on the actual rails of an incredibly scenic disused railway in Gisborne, New Zealand The railbike is very easy to ride, it balances and steers itself as you pedal smoothly and silently through outstanding coastal scenery We have an e-bike option for those who prefer the effortless experience

Minimum group size of 10.
I took a coach load of New Zealanders there, a lot with a farming back ground. It was so good to see the family working as a team what a delight. Close up action for all to experience, everyone came away with a big smile and talked about it for days. Thank you for the lovley Morning tea. Truly a wonderful visit.

Every morning, all year round, surfers gather here around sunrise to catch the first rays and the first waves of the new day. Even for those of us who drive past here often, we never grow tired of the stunning view looking out over the sea.

Peaceful place. Loved walking amongst the vast array of tall trees with their colourful Autumn leaves. Accommodation is clean & all inside, so it's very easy to access shared kitchen, bathrooms etc. Lovely area for eating outside. Friendly helpful staff. I'm keen to come back again. Nice for all ages, kids included, with a room for kids to do drawings/ educational experiences about plants. Reasonable gift shop., although I think there is a market there for someone to sell current beautiful photos of the trees in full colour, eg poster size. Needs a cafe!! Would be ideal after a walk to come back to a cafe. The grounds are not what I'd call, highly manicured, and some water features aren't working anymore but perhaps funding isn't what it used to be. Certainly these things didn't detract from my experience of the Arboretum and I've already recommended it to friends.
