This church doesn't look like too much outside, still nice, but inside is beautiful. Def worth a stop to take a peek and see the beautiful windows and carvings.

Step off the beaten track onto this hill country sheep & beef farm to experience rural New Zealand in action. Spend time with 3 generations of this farming family, relax and enjoy our beautiful surroundings while learning about agriculture in this region. * Meet your hosts and hear their personal insights into what life is like on this 4th generation, family-run farm. * Watch the sweat drip off the shearers brow as they skillfully remove the long woolen coat. * See the wools journey from sheep to bale and get a taste of the wool industry in NZ. * Head to the paddock and watch the shepherd muster a mob of sheep on horseback. * Get up close with the farm dogs: learn how the shepherd utilises two different breeds of farm dog to move a flock of sheep, and observe how they work together to run the farm! * Enjoy a classic Kiwi home-baked smoko (morning tea) Waipura Station is a 2100 acre sheep and beef farm just a ten minute drive from Gisborne City. Minimum group size of 10.
I took a coach load of New Zealanders there, a lot with a farming back ground. It was so good to see the family working as a team what a delight. Close up action for all to experience, everyone came away with a big smile and talked about it for days. Thank you for the lovley Morning tea. Truly a wonderful visit.

Beautiful wharf set amongst stunning cliffs and views if the coast. Well worth a stop to stroll the entirety of the wharf. Wear your togs so you can jump off the wharf at the end (safely) as there is a ladder to climb back up. Worth taking some fishing rods too if you have a chance. Can also reccomend the little food truck at the start, had some great cheezy wheezy :)

Our second year at Tolaga Bay. Friendly atmosphere, great clean facilities and knowledgeable staff. A 1 minute walk to the historic wharf, 2 mins drive to Tolaga Bay town for basic supplies. The camp is beach front with an amazing safe sandy beach.

Hire a bike (Cycling Gisborne) and ride along the board walk, then bike thru the dunes on the 4WD track (particulalry if you have an ebike!). A beautiful long beach. A beautiful flat boardwalk. Lots to see and watch (surfies, ships etc)

We drove the narrow and pot holed road to it. Even though my car is quite low it was all okay. This wharf is worth the visit when in the area. There is a sign saying that the wharf is closed but hey, it would be a boring life if all rules were followed all of the time. DISCLAIMER: I am not taking any responsibility whatsoever if my post or photo encourages you to boldly stroll out on it and you stub your toe or something!
