I love this place. It's in a lovely quiet little town and in an old mill. The people that work here are so nice and friendly. There is a really nice mix of antiques at a wide range of price points. I always find treasures here. It's a few miles off the interstate, but it's worth the drive and the drive itself is so pretty. Definitely give this place a try!

The garden railroad brings out the kid in all of us as the scale sized trains make their way around the track through small towns, mountains and over bridges. One of the best small working trains anywhere. Great for all ages.

Grove Winery specializes in growing and crafting exceptional European-style wines. The main estate vineyards, winery, event facilities and tasting room are located just 7 miles northeast of the Greensboro city limits in the the federally recognized Haw River Valley wine country, a short drive from anywhere in the Triad or Triangle. The sloping, mineral-rich estate vineyards feature wine grapes that thrive in this microclimate like Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, etc. Grapes are hand harvested and used for a limited production of 3000 cases of premium wine each year. The Grove tasting room is open noon-6pm daily for tasting, shopping or simply a glass of wine on our patio overlooking Lake Cabernet.

The Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum is North Carolina’s first and only official State Historic Site to honor an African American and a woman. The site is the former Palmer Memorial Institute, an African American preparatory school established by Brown in 1902. The historic site opened to the public in 1987 and has as its mission to preserve and interpret the history and cultural legacy of Dr. Charlotte Hawkins Brown, Palmer Memorial Institute and African American education. Visitors can explore and learn about a unique environment where many African American boys and girls lived and learned during the greater part of the 20th Century.
The Gibsonville Museum is member funded, non-profit run museum of local and regional history. The Museum is open on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and also during larger town events (Fall Festival, Lighting of the Green, the Christmas Parade). For groups and private parties, the Museum can be opened outside of traditional hours with advance notice.
