THE FIRE FLIES GARDEN located in Taro village , we have created a conservation garden for the fireflies in the hope of restoring their natural ecosystem across our village so they can soon fly freely......The 6x30 square meter garden is in natural habitat (rice field) with fresh air, cleaning running water and plenty of plants nearby to support their development.

Enjoy walking around and get along with a thousand birds and its habitat. The Park is divided into seven regions that recreate the natural habitats of our birds, complete with indigenous plant life. You can travel from the deep misty jungle of Sumatra to Far East Indonesia and Papua to discover the native birds from these remote regions. Venture to other tropical continents too. See the South American exotics such as the Golden Macaw and the Congo Grey Parrot from the African Savannah. Enter into their real living environment and see how they play with their colony, how they breed, and feel their happiness. You'll love them. Be entertained with our various bird shows and feeding activities and also many special programs made only for you. Take photos from lots of incredible scenes and taste the richness of local Balinese culinary and international cuisine from our fantastic menus in the restaurant.
This was our fourth family visit. The park continues to make incremental improvements and is great for all generations of the family. It has always offered a great day out with well managed and accessible natural exhibits set in a pleasing park like environment - many of the birds are kept in the open or in bigger aviaries ( though some are kept in smaller cupboard cages, which seem to be being phased out). The birds come from a wide background including SE Asia, South America, and South Africa. There are specific areas for, and more focus on, Sumatra, Borneo, Papua, Java and of course Bali. There is a Komodo Dragon exhibit as well. The bird shows and feeding sessions are not gimmicky or exploitative and the staff seem genuinely interested in, and caring for, the birds there. There is a very good cafe onsite which is offers snacks and lunch ( Balinese and international food). Best suggested time to visit is mid morning to avoid the worst of the traffic, catch the shows and then have a later lunch and drinks when it gets hotter.

See Indonesia in One Afternoon! Taman Nusa is a cultural park that aims to offer a comprehensive information on the cultures of Indonesia's various ethnic groups in an attractive and interactive way, while enjoying the natural beauty of Bali.Situated on 15 hectares of land, visitors are invited to explore and experience Indonesia's journey throughout the ages beginning from the prehistory, bronze age, kingdoms, and an archipelago of Indonesian cultures. The journey continues to the early national era, independence, modern times and finally to the nation's future.
Wonderful collection of Indonesian houses from different island. Over 60 different original building to have a look for all the culture of this country. 50% of houses are heavy damaged and it is no t possible to go inside anymore. But even this situation that place is MUST visit! Due to pandemy most activities are closed. Ticket price goes down from 350k IDR to 200k IDR and 85k for locals. Price looks little bit high, but if you can go - it worth it. Inside only 3 people near the houses. From Papua, Sumbawa and Sulawesi. They will explain you about their work and traditional arts if you ask them. Aslo nice mini-copy of borobudur temple. If you will go on weekdays you have huge chanse that you will be alon in this place - no other visitors. With the ticket you will get free-drink coupon that you can use in the end of the street with houses. From the cafe you have amazing view to the forest and river. For all way you will need not less than 2 hours if not hurry. We not reccomend to use wooden bridges - they looks not to strong enough to use them safe(but we had and was ok, just be careful). Anyway this is hidden diamond on the side of the road. Hope it will be renovated in the future.

Waterfall tours are different from other waterfall forms, because the shape is sloping, not shaped like a waterfall usually. So that is why this waterfall is very aesthetic in the form of tourist attractions. In addition, there is a river found for tourists to try their adventure with the cliffs surrounding it.

Kanto Lampo waterfall is untouchable place in gianyar regency since 2010, good news for you now there are many many tourist go there, this waterfall is near tegenungan waterfall, the road to reach kanto lampo waterfall little bit narrow. Vibes nature when you go there, it's very wonderful to take some photos there and make some videos.
The waterfall is 5km from Ubud so you can just get a taxi driver to take you and hang around and then take you back (we haggled a bit RP200,000) There are free lockers you can leave some of your stuff near the car park at the top, there are toilets and changing area there too. You take some steep stairs to the waterfall and eventually you have to climb down some slippery rocks to get in the river to get to the waterfall. But it’s so worth it!! Lots of places were you can safely get in the waterfall but be warned it’s full of people taking photos, some daft tourists acting like they’re doing a cover shoot are hilarious. There are usually local guys in the water who will offer to take photos of you, they are worth using as they help you manoeuvre around the waterfall safely and your phone stays dry! You just tip them a small amount at the end, they’re grateful for anything, not demanding at all. The waterfall is in a stunning setting and definitely the best one in the area, only 20,000 entrance fee.

After reading the reviews at Tripadvisor, didn't have great expectations about Bali Safari and Marine Park, but i was pleasantly surprised after my visit there. Had one of the best days of our Bali Trip at this park. With animal shows running through out the day, Bali Safari tour where we saw wide range of animals from very close by, ample places to have meals or quick snacks, petting zoo and so on...we thoroughly enjoyed our day. The park is very well managed and organized, very clean, many information centers. Kids enjoyed a lot and so did we. A must visit place when in Bali.
