Gelendzhik (Russian: Геленджи́к) is a resort town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Gelendzhik Bay of the Black Sea, between Novorossiysk (31 kilometers (19 mi) to the northwest) and Tuapse (93 kilometers (58 mi) to the southeast). Greater Gelendzhik sprawls for 102 kilometers (63 mi) along the coastline and covers an area of 122,754 hectares (303,330 acres), although only 1,926 hectares (4,760 acres) fall within the boundaries of Gelendzhik proper. Population: 54,980 (2010 Census); 50,012 (2002 Census); 47,711 (1989 Census).

Perfect embankment with great views of the bay. Very clean and well maintained. One of the longest embankments in Europe, which is great for walking and cycling too. Lots of attractions and lovely cafes on the way. Great place to chill and definitely one of the most significant landmarks of the Southern Russia.

One of the most remarkable places in Gelendzhik and the entire Black Sea region is the Olimp family recreation and entertainment park. Mountain Park "Olympus" is a wide variety of entertainment for every taste. In the summer period from June to the end of September, every day you will find: an exhibition of fish, a wildlife park "Call of the Jungle", Exotarium, attractions, jeeping, ATVs, a zip LIN trolley descent, a network of cafes and a high-mountain restaurant "Varenichya Khata", concert performances pop stars, a free bus to the Poklonniy Cross, entertainment programs and activities for children and adults, as well as the main attraction of the park - the cable car.
