Gatlinburg, at the heart of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is an ideal base for a family looking to explore the park's numerous offerings. After you've gone hiking, fishing, rafting or horseback riding, ride an elevator 342 feet to the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle for stunning views of the Smokies. There's also an amusement center next door with nifty rides and games.

Gatlinburg’s first Hard Cider tasting room. Stop by and enjoy some authentic Appalachian food and cider.
The VIP tasting is a great deal for only $5. Heidi was wonderful in serving us and she even held on to a bottle we purchased while we walked around town (cider day care).

Experience Gatlinburg’s newest winery, located in the heart of Downtown across from The Village. Little Bear Winery offers don’t-miss wines that are vibrant, fun, and – most importantly – delicious.

Sugarland Cellars is a fully operating winery offering tours and complimentary tastings of all wines available. The gift shop is a great experience; filled with plenty of wine-related gifts and Smoky Mountain memories. The rich history of Gatlinburg will be showcased on our labels as well as throughout our guided tours. Our staff are all very vibrant, knowledgeable, and cannot wait to help all of our visitors experience the sights and tastes that Sugarland Cellars has to offer! Tucked into the Marketplace Mall, we are steps from the busy Gatlinburg parkway. Step in and enjoy a tasting or wine by the glass! We are the only winery in town that grows our grapes. You can get information here on touring our vineyards and winery also.
This winery is tucked away in the Marketplace Mall alley, before you reach the Back Alley Grill. It has a laid back atmosphere with seating if you decide to hang out and have a glass of wine or slush after your tasting. They allowed two samples per person. My husband and I tried the Knotty or Nice (seasonal spiced - it’s good warm or cold), Raz, and Peach. Good wines! It’s easy to miss this spot, since it’s not right on the strip, but you should definitely check them out!
