Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad operates regularly scheduled trains between Gairbaldi and Rockaway Beach in the summer months and special event trains throughout the year over the rest of the line. Our line extends from the TIllamook Air Museum blimp hangar on the South side of Tillamook through Garibaldi, Rockaway Beach and Wheeler where the tracks turn to the East and head up into the coast range along the remote and breathtaking Nehalem and Salmonberry River canyons.

A wonderful place to spend 2 hours in a town of less than 1000 people. You will learn about Garibaldi's history with lumber and fishing businesses. A highlight is being exposed to the role played by Captain Robert Gray and his ships, Columbia Rediviva and Lady Washington, in the discovery of the Columbia River for America before Lewis and Clark came to the Pacific Northwest. Interesting displays on the Coast Guard, Native Americans and guns. A lot of model ships to see.

What a great marina. The little store staff are so friendly. Unfortunately, guys wanting to get out on the water can be a bit rude...but aren't all sea-men salty?

Recently restored and offers amazing views of the bay and town. Way better than the pier at the marina. The crabbing was also pretty decent and I pulled up four keeper Dungeness and a big Red Rock to boot. There are only about eight or so pull offs on the otherwise narrow pier and the place is popular, so get their early to stake out a spot.
