For visitors, the best thing about Galway is that you can walk everywhere. As soon as you arrive, enjoy a walk through the city streets. There, you'll find lively pubs, independent shops and winding cobblestone streets packed with students, artists, writers and craftspeople. You may even hear Gaelic spoken. For a day trip, take a ferry to the island of Inis Mor. You'll return refreshed by the ocean air and Inis Mor's breathtaking scenery. Oh, and be sure to wear sunscreen on the island, no matter how chilly it is. (Just trust us, okay?)

Rab has always been a good story teller. I've been saying that since I saw him first perform in the Cellar Bar in 2009. But in the intervening decade Rab has grown tremendously as a storyteller. The stories he chose fore the evening about Reverend Solace and Lord Solace (I'm pretty sure I don't have the names right) were absolutely on point. Not only were they great stories, they reflected the current state of the world. And the way Rab told the stories was fabulous, interacting with the audience, hash tagging the stories, even incorporating disruptive elements from the audience into the narrative. It's no wonder the place was packed and standing room only. If you want to experience another side of Irish Culture, you really need to see Rab Fulton at the Crane Bar.
