We were in Galveston with two other couples and found this little place on the Seawall. We scheduled a distillery tour and arrived to discover that a transformer had been damaged and they had no power. One of the owners was there and was extremely nice and apologetic. He offered to move forward with the tour and tasting, explaining that it may be warm in the back. We were more than happy to go ahead with the plan. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and we did “flights” after the tour, sampling the whiskey, vodka and moonshine. All were extremely tasty! When leaving, one of our party stepped off the curb wrong and injured herself and he was SO FANTASTIC, grabbing clean bar rags, the first aid kit and even replacing her damaged bottle at no cost! He really went above and beyond! We all need to stop into our neighborhood Spec’s and Total Wine and ask for their product! You won’t be disappointed.

Galveston's Own Farmers Market brings locally-grown produce, prepared foods and edible farm products to residents of Galveston and the surrounding areas. We strive to foster a greater sense of community through supporting local Texas farmers and producers, and connect individuals with their local food economy.
As this is a very small market it lends itself to being so community friendly. All the vendors know their customers and reach out to make new shoppers feel welcome. The market is held at the Bryan museum which supports this market in many ways,,,including a wine at the Bryan gathering every Thursday afternoon which is held at the saem time as the Market..Wonderful way to spend a bit of time supporting the farm to table efforts on the gulf coast
