More than 43,000 acres of protected and managed coastal habitats for migratory birds.
What a pleasant, well maintained, place to get away from the hustle bustle!
Just outside of Atlantic City. Trails are very well marked. Beautiful Holly trees, Pines and the skyline of AC are just some of the highlights.
If hiking isn't your thing you can do the bird watching drive.

Had lunch in the tavern by a beautiful wood burning fire. The meal was excellent, truly a significant notch up from previous visits. While the food has always been good here, it has gotten better.

When visiting Historic Smithville Village, you've got to stop at this shop. It is Peanut Butter heaven. Many varieties to choose from...all amazing. The biggest problem was having to choose without buying some of everything. Fortunately, you can taste all the various flavors before buying....MoreHistoric Smithville Village is amazing during the holidays....we are so happy you found our store on your recent visit. The smell of coffee when you enter is just amazing! Upon a coworker's recommendation, we got their lemonade-PERFECTION! They have all kinds of great items there & a little window (where I got said lemonade) where you can order all kids of non-alcoholic drinks. Definitely a must-visit!

6 adults, 6 grandchildren, not sure who had more fun. Many rides are fun for both kids and grownup kids. Park is decorated with thousands of lights during the holidays which all light up by Santa at 5:00 pm. It’s magical and really puts you in the holiday spirit.

I was here for my nephews birthday.Party was great.Kids had fun,The young men that were ref's were awesome! So good that my sister put an extra tip in for them with bill. As we were leaving, she told the one young man that she gave tip with bill and to make sure they got it. As we were carrying our stuff out, my sister thanked everyone and reminded the young man about his tip.He thanked my sister and walked over to oriental women at front desk.We heard him tell her what my sister said, and the women yelled, "There's no money!! You will get it next time!!" We were really taken back by her saying that to him. I wanted to go say something, but my sister didn't want to make a scene and thought it would make it worse for the young man. We are still wondering if the young man got his tip and think the owner should probably teach that woman some social etiquette. So my opinion is, great place for party, but didn't like the fact we left wondering if they got their tips.If we are there again, we will personally give the tips to be sure.

5 days nice place good service. Took 3 tours by Marriott. Good price. To Atlantic city-ain't what it was 50 years ago. But good for 1/2 day visit. Then did Cape May-and Did Dr somebody's mansion- educational. Best eating was at the Smithville Inn. Very historic and will discuss individually. Also Oyster Cafe?? At edge of ocean. Will detail separately. And very interesting educational Wine tour/tasting at Renault. Good kick back spot. Do not play golf.

Used to like this shop for some of their unique wine accessories. Bought a few fancy wine glasses here. Not a fan of their wine. It is fun to try a few for the tasting, but I do not buy them. I prefer California wines. Some of the sweet wines with higher sugar are palatable. Their "special" reserve level wines are ok but very expensive compared to what you can get in Cali.
Was disappointed in the clerk the last time we were there. There was an entire table of metal wine chiller sticks. When we went to buy 2, they each rang up twice the price marked. The entire table was marked the same. The clerk said they were all miss-marked and would not honor the price. We politely put them back and left. I still wonder if it was done that way on purpose. Have not been back.
