"An eye-opener for nine-year-olds to ninety-nine-year-olds, and you'll find your conversations going back to it again and again." - Montana Magazine. As seen in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, LA Times, Billings Gazette, Bozeman Daily Chronicle, ABC News, Vancouver Courier, New Yorker Magazine, USA Today, C-Span, ABC News, Distinctly Montana, and many other media outlets...
Not being fascinated by computers, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this little museum It is in a business park in an office building so do not be surprised that it is not a separate building. The exhibits touched on a lot of history including space flight, WWII and other areas. Maybe not so good for young children but I would recommend it to others.

This was a great experience for our family: three adults (one age 70) and two children (9 and 11). The rapids were challenging and fun and the scenery was amazing! We were about the only ones on this section of the Madison River (we got in at the dam), which made it seem like OUR river. The water was super cold -- we wore all of the wetsuit gear provided. Our guides was knowledgeable, funny and skilled at "chasing water around the world." I would highly recommend the company and this particular tour.

Escape Room MT is a unique interactive gaming experience where participants will attempt to solve puzzles and connect clues before the time runs out.
We attempted the Syndrome Scientific, which is a bio accident theme. Overall, our group had a good time. However, some of us thought it was a little too difficult. A little more help from the moderator would have been nice. However, I must say, the game was extremely well thought and detailed.

The Museum Store sells healthy snacks such as juice, yogurt, nuts, and string cheese. Snack and beverage vending machines are located in the lower lobby. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby.
We spent about four hours at this wonderful museum. The traveling museum portion on the Roman Empire was great fun. Montana history area was extremely educational. The collection and information on paleontology was great and it was interesting to see some of the species stages of development.

Mark from Rocky Mountain Rotors gives the best tours around in a helicopter! It is an experience of a lifetime. Went up Hy Li Canyon and saw mountain goats in the mountain caves, elk, bison, pronghorn and if you are real lucky you might even spot a bear. Fly over Ted Turner's ranch and see the beauty of the Montana mountains. If you are real lucky maybe Mark will give an historical interpretative talk about the indians in the area and the buffalo jump. AWESOME TIME!

This view of the falls is stunning. It is a paved path anyone can take it. We were a group of three this last time, but school field trips, babies in stroller, really anyone can enjoy this one.

I wore a GPS device and covered 3.01 miles from trail head to the lake while gaining 1650 feet of elevation. Much of the trail is rocky and slow going. This would not be an easy trail for runners. I found it intermediate. The ascent took about 90 minutes; the descent only about 55 minutes.
At the top is a huge mountain lake (I'll attach photos) with several different opportunities to climb around on the rocks, fallen trees, and wade in. (In late May, water was really cold).
On the way up are several scenic vistas, forested areas (most of the trail is shaded), streams to cross (at least in May with snow melt), people headed both ways, dogs, and, of course switchbacks.
I recommended leaving at around 10 AM; taking a lunch - spending a relaxing hour with lunch at the lake - then heading back down.
For the very hardy; the trail continues past the lake well into the mountains... covered some of it - then turned back - more remote.

A good fishing river.
We took the gentlest white water raft that there was. Out guide, kristen, was obviously very skilled. She could hold a meaningful conversation while saying " paddle one forward ". We skirted all the rocks except the ones she wanted us to hit and bounce.
River was absolutely gorgeous.
Excellent safety instructions, felt very safe

The West wouldn’t be the West without horseback riding. Miles of trail lead out from the ranch into pristine Montana wilderness, where guides and experienced horses ensure a fabulous adventure for all skill levels. For a real taste of the Old West, you can enjoy a good old fashioned chuck wagon dinner down by the river or a horse drawn sleigh ride in the winter to our Mountain Man campsite.
Our guide Stacy made the trip up the mountain awesome! We were a party of 6 and really enjoyed the horses and the trip. The horses were easy going, well-trained and gentle. The views and the scenery were spectacular!! All of the people associated with the ranch...MoreThanks for your review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your ride; our wranglers work hard to provide everyone with a great trail experience - after all if you are going to see Montana the best way is on the back of a horse!
