Great place for herb lovers. Lots of educational information and a shop where one can buy some excellent items made with herbs as well as herbs themselves. Lot of tea to choose from and books as well.

This beautiful five-acre park is the centerpiece of historic Olde Gahanna. Best known for its lovely waterfall, the park invites visitors to stroll the walkways, enjoy a nostalgic picnic, take a paddle boat ride, fish, or wade in the delightful water of the meandering Big Walnut Creek.
What a delightful gathering place! Loved the LARGE checkers and chess games near the waterfall. Enjoyed a peaceful chat with a friend at one of the umbrella tables. Enjoyed the scenic views and a lovely walk along the scenic creek. This was so nice, I want one for my neighborhood!

Founded in 1973, Gahanna Woods State Nature Preserve is a successful effort to save one of the last remaining large stands of woods in central Ohio. The preserve is both a nature lover and bird watcher’s dream, with rare species of vegetation, including some of Ohio’s most exceptional wildflowers, and rarely-seen wildlife. Consisting of more than 50 acres, the preserve offers plenty of scenic hiking trails and areas for picnicking.
Gahanna Woods was a nice find when I had some spare time in the area recently. When you turn off the road, the state nature area is to the east of the parking lot and the trails through the park are on the west. Don't drive past the parking lot as you will just have to turn around in a quarter mile or so at the locked gate to the city water tower. Lots of trails, woods, ponds, and plenty of seclusion. There were four other cars in the lot when we arrived, but two left. One guy was cleaning out his car and some woman was on her cell phone. She was still at it when we left after our walk. We didn't encounter anyone else during the entire time.

Step back in time and experience life in the 1800s at the serene setting of the Gahanna Historical Society Settlement. Perched along the bank of the Big Walnut Creek, this historic destination invites visitors to rediscover the past through events, tours and demonstrations in the 1840s Log House, 1860s John Clark House, 1900s Lily Stone Bed & Breakfast, Goosefoot Garden and the newly-designated National Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. Call for hours.

We went here on a rainy day and from the outside appearance we didn’t have high expectations, but once we were inside it was very clean and we spent all 18 holes having fun. It was 7.50$ for each adult. I would recommend again

We took advantage of the Tuesday BOGO special and took our kids and 6 of their friends for 2 games of Lazer tag, $20 worth of games, pops & pizza. This was to celebrate my son’s 10th bday. We made reservations ahead of time and everything went smoothly. The kids played one game of tag, followed by a pop and game break. Then pizzas came out right after their second game of Lazer tag, we ate, and went home. This was less expensive than booking a party and we were able to a do a few extras that weren’t included with a party. The kids were also psyched to have the Lazer tag to themselves plus the gaming area almost to themselves. My daughter had so much fun she wants to do the trampoline park at Lazer craze for her birthday. I highly recommend this place. The kids loved it, service was great, and it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be.
