This is a very nice place to visit in the city, it has many temples inside with a big lake in the middle and many trees and benches to sit and relax. The entrance ticket is very cheap, only 20 CNY. It was the only place we have to pay for. All the attraction in the city are for free.

Firstly, there are a lot of road works around the base of the mountain (New Fuzhou Metro) so allow extra time - buses stop a couple of stops short of entrance. Walk up is only 2000 steps. Pick your time of day before the heat of the day. Plenty of rest places on the way up and down and of course for the major rest and relax before the coming down. The steps on the left hand side route are more even and easier than the ones in the middle route. There is of course Cable car and motor car access too.

Fuzhou Jinshan Temple was originally constructed in the Song Dynasty. As the only marine temple of Fuzhou, it is located on Wulong River near Hongtang Village in the western suburbs of Fuzhou. As it looks like a stone seal floating on water and Jinshan Mountain in Zhenjiang, it is also called "Little Jinshan". Today, the ancient eight scenes of Jinshan Temple can still be seen, i.e. "Hong Tang Gu Du", "Shi Cang Qiu Yan", "Miao Gao Zhong Sheng", "Ban Zhou Yu Huo", "Yun Cheng Shi Ta", "Ba Shan Feng Fan", "Huan Feng Ye Yue" and "Qi Lu Xie Yang". Seen from afar, Jinshan Temple looks small, elegant and beautiful and its shadow in the river water is clear. Photographing enthusiasts can't miss this place.
