Lots to sightseeing and photo opportunities in this 860 hectare national park. Said to have the highest oxygen content air in Fuzhou. Nice hiking paths. Rated as one of China's top ten forest parks. A few visitors were having picnics.

Architectural buildings of Sanfang Qixiang and Zhuzi Workshop

Reviewed By 70ava - Beijing, China

We visited the place a couple times - daytime as well as nighttime. It is worth a few hours exploring the various open houses - some of them museums and some just amazing shops. The banyan trees, the combinations of wooden and brick buildings, the illumination and the fact that it is so clean with many English explanations makes it one of the most rewarding old style neighborhoods in China to visit.

Xihu Park of Fuzhou

Reviewed By visitf2017

Honored as the Lungs of City, Xihu Park is located on Hubin Road in the north of Fuzhou and at the foot of Wolong Mountain and it is by bar the fullest-preserved classical park of Fuzhou. It comprises three islands, i.e. Kaihua Island, Xieping Island and Yaojiao Island which are interconnected by Liudi Bridge, Feihong Bridge, Buyun Bridge and Beizha Bridge. The park has long dykes and willows in it. Walking across Buyun Bridge, one will reach the Lotus Pavilion where Lin Zexu constructed a memorial hall for Li Gang of Northern Song Dynasty. Laurel trees are planted here and Lin Zexu's study is located nearby. The tourists can enjoy lotus in summer, the fragrance of sweet osmanthus in autumn and beautiful natural landscapes all around the year. Beizha Bridge is also called Yudai Bridge which is connected to Yaojiao Island. It is the provincial exhibition center and the Provincial Museum displays as many as 100,000 exhibits. At the 140th anniversary of Lin Zexu, a statute of Lin Zexu was erected on the lawn before the Museum. It attracts continuous flows of tourists every year. Due to limited time, we accessed via the gate and visited only Kaihua Island but ignored Xieping Island and Yaojiao Island. On Kaihua Island, we visited Xianqiaoliuse, Ziwei Hall, Kaihua Temple and Wanhe Hall, which were the top eight scenes of Xihu.
