This was a very enjoyable class, as the chef named Suda gave me instructions on fresh fish, how to use a kitchen knife, and how to grab sushi. I ate 10 of my own sushi, but it was so delicious that I didn't think I made it!

The Iwaki Coal & Fossil Museum shows the history of Iwaki and how the city was heavy on coal mining during the Meiji period in Japan. The museum also houses many dinosaur skeletons from all over the world and even one from Iwaki.

Some English explanations exist, so that foreigner can also enjoy. If you are sort of freak on something scientific this is the place you should visit. Scientifically coal and fossil are almost the same, so they display both (strange mixture in usual sense). Built on the entrance of the old coal mines which were closed 50 yeas ago. Many fossils are shown with a special emphasis of Futabasaurus Suzukii which was discovered by a high school student.
