Fredericia (Danish pronunciation: [fʁɛðəˈʁɛɕa, fʁɛðəˈʁɛdɕa]) is a town located in Fredericia municipality in the southeastern part of the Jutland peninsula in Denmark, in a sub-region also known as Trekantsområdet (the Triangle Area). It was founded in 1650 by Frederick III, after whom it was named.

We loved this town. It is small and quaint and loaded with friendly people. You can spend your afternoon climbing the tower, visiting the shops and cafes, and stopping at the beach. Rich in a well preserved history, this town is definitely worth it.
