There’s plenty to see and do in this 2,000-year-old German city. The gothic Saint Bartholomeus Cathedral is a perseverant structure, having been destroyed and rebuilt twice since its 14th century construction. Catch a screening at the German Film Museum, stroll the exhibit halls of one of Frankfurt’s many galleries, or climb to the top of the Main Tower for sweeping 360-degree views of the city.

Dear guests: In consideration of the current situation regarding the coronavirus, the Visitors’ Terrace at Frankfurt will be closed from March 17 until further notice. Thank you for your understanding. The Visitors’ Terrace in Terminal 2 at Frankfurt Airport is an enjoyable place to spend some time. It features attractive seating, partly beneath pavilions to protect you from the sun or rain. From here you can enjoy a fascinating view of the bustling activity on the apron and aircraft taking off and landing on the airfield. Thanks to a protective wire mesh fence with small gaps for taking pictures of the action out on the airfield, it will no longer be necessary for visitors to clear a security check. The Visitors' Terrace is located in Terminal 2 at the Food Plaza (Level 4) next to McDonald's. Please follow the signs to the Shopping Plaza in Terminal 2, and from there to the Food Plaza/Visitors' Terrace.
