Giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, endangered jaguars and clouds of butterflies are among the attractions at this World Heritage-designated park that marks the border between Brazil and Argentina. By foot or by raft, explorers can view one of the world's most stunning waterfalls, Iguazu Falls. Among the park's 270 waterfalls, spectacular Devil's Throat combines 14 falls and generates a "perpetual rainbow" in good weather.

The colossal power of these thundering falls, viewable from both Argentina and Brazil, and accessible from Paraguay, is a mesmerizing sight: 275 separate falls in a U-shaped formation pound the water below in raging cascades with a deafening intensity.
Iguazu Falls was simply stunning, beyond description. We saw the Falls from both the Argentinean side, up close and personal with the deafening roar of the water in our ears, and from the Brazilian side, from lofty platforms with panoramic views above the Falls. It was magnificent and will be forever memorable. We had one gray cloudy day on the Argentinean side that made for dramatic moody photos, and a cool but bright sunny day on the Brazilian side where brilliant rainbows were everywhere on the water. This is well worth a visit. Our guide Carlos with G Adventures was awesome! He guided us to the best viewpoints on both sides, gave us ample time to absorb the beauty around us, and filled us in on the layout of the Falls, geology and history of the area, etc. Highly recommended!

This massive forested park, with rare species of birds, pumas, tapirs, monkeys and other wildlife is best known for housing the world's largest and most extraordinary waterfalls - the Iguacu Falls -that extend for miles.
Parque Nacional do Iguacu was excellent! The park was clean, staff people were helpful and easy to understand We would highly recommend coming to see the falls, especially on both sides because you're able to appreciate the scale from a full perspective.

3 hours tour through the Atlantic Forest around the Iguassu River, with information, trails, kayak and SUP, bathing in waterfalls. A memorable itinerary for those who enjoy nature, sports, leisure and adventure. Our company is located in a farmhouse on the banks of the Iguaçu River, 14km after the falls, a unique place of beauty. Welcome, everyone!

The devil's throat gobbles you up...the sheer volume of water, the noise, the scenery is exceptionally beautiful. I spent most of the time forgetting to take photos because I was so entranced by what was at the end of that long boardwalk. It was fantastic to do the Brazil side first...the magical landscape and hundreds of falls and to get a glimpse of the Argentine side...but not really know what is there. The next day, we grabbed an early morning tour to the Argentina side, missing most of the crowds and the tour buses. What an amazing time for us. Loved it.

We found Dionisio on TripAdvisor. I requested a pickup at Brasil Iguazu Airport, a 2 hour stop over at the Brasil side of the falls, then a drop off at a hotel on the Argentina side. He responded quickly and confirmed details with a very reasonable price. He met us at the airport with a smile and exceptional service. We had only asked to be dropped at the falls for a few hours - but Dionisio accompanied us into the Iguazu Falls park, brought us to the front of the line to buy our tickets, then drove us in his car through the park (rather than queuing with a couple hundred other tourists for a park bus). He made sure we took our time exploring the falls! We wrapped up our falls sightseeing and asked Dionisio for a lunch recommendation- he took us to a local churrascaria (barbecue house). We enjoyed an incredible meal! He then drove us into Argentina- walking with us through customs on both sides! Dionisio is kind, thoughtful, courteous, and professional! Way to go Dionisio!
