Hello, We would like to have our attraction listed under Indianapolis, Indiana so we can show up in the list of things to do in Indianapolis. As you can see, our physical address actually falls within the city of Fishers, Indiana. However, fishers is actually a suburb of Indianapolis that visitors would not be aware. Visitors that come to Indianapolis will look in "Indianapolis" for interesting things to do in our area. Is there a way we can get on that list? Conner Prairie, a nationally acclaimed outdoor history museum, is a fantastic day activity for children and adults of all ages. Perfect for families, groups, clubs, school field trips and more. Come explore the beautiful grounds of the park and visit different time periods in Indiana history. Areas include: 1816 Lenape Camp, 1836 Prairietown, 1886 Civil War Journey, the William Conner House and the 1859 Balloon Voyage. You may also enjoy meeting baby farm animals and learning about Conner Prairie's heritage breeds at the Animal Encounters Barn. Or take a ride on the 1859 Balloon Voyage, a helium filled tethered hot air balloon ride that takes you 350 feet into the air above the park. Don't forget the hiking trails, summer splash pad and the newest exhibit, a four-story tree house with integrated learning stations. The outdoor grounds at Conner Prairie are open to the public April-October with some limited hours. Please check the Conner Prairie website for current hours. The indoor Discovery Center, Create Connect and additional special programs are offered year-round. Museum Shop open year-round. Closed Mondays.
There are many things to do - manhy that even local people don't know that they can take advantage. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is Symphony on the Prairie. But there are year round activities. It is clean and a great place to take kids if you keep an eye out for things to do. Christmas is another particulaly prominent time to go to Conner Prairie. I do wish that the parking lots were actually there as you are parking on grass - but, that takes money. Whoever handles the Prairie does a great job!

I saw Cheap Trick and Foreigner here. It's a nice spot for a concert. Good sound. Good food. And most important easy to get in and out of.

Tuttle Orchards is a favorite central Indiana farm destination featuring quality apples, pumpkins, plants and local foods. The year round farm store offers a selection of produce, local and gourmet groceries. The farm also hosts seasonal events and tours. Fall activities include apple picking, pumpkin patch, corn maze, kid's farm play area and more.
Tuttle Orchards is my clear "go-to" in Hancock County for the best in produce! I love in-season sweet corn but have learned that the consistency of Tuttles' corn is so high that growing it in my garden is folly. All corn in season comes from Tuttles. They win many categories in the State Fair each year for their produce. Their programs are always fun and interesting. Load up the kids (or your appetite) and head to Tuttles! You can't be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite day trips from Indy, and you will LOVE the small waterfalls surrounded by natural limestone's to wade in with the family. Its a wonderful place to fish and take family pictures. There is a small museum open on the weekends, and lots of places to have a picnic.

Ten West Center for the Arts is a 501(c)3 non profit in Central Indiana whose mission is to help youth stay creative. We provide a place for students to express themselves. This includes dance, music, visual arts, martial arts, and theatre classes. We also provide the community with world class concerts, performances and entertainment.
My boyfriend and I recently attended Seussical the Musical at Ten West. This was their young adult show and the kids did a great job! We also saw a stand up comedy show. It's a unique venue that's perfect for a romantic night out. If you're in the area, check Ten West out!

They are physically located next to the Pendleton Correctional Facility, which can be viewed from many holes, especially 17 which runs along side. This is a eighteen hole (par 72) public course. The course is generally flat. However, some holes do enjoy elevation changes. Not really any water hazards with which to contend. They do have some bunkers, but these are not real problem on most holes. The greens vary in size, but tend medium to small. Further, most of the greens tend to be crowned, with the collars mowed close. In other words, be careful of your shot placement to the green or you can roll back off, or down either size or the back. This can make what was a nice looking shot frustrating as you are chipping on rather than putting. The strength of the course were the greens. They were well maintained and fast, in spite of what I mentioned about their crowned design. A weakness was the fairways. Many of these were in need of repair and dried out. The tee boxes (three choices - white, gold, red) were fine. We have played here several times and like the design. However, we may give the course a rest for a year or two and see whether it can be brought into better condition before we return.

We were at the fairgrounds for the Woodworker Show. Asked about tap rooms and micro, and was given this one. Great space, clean , friendly and above all tasty.
Got a variety to go, and share. Still had a 3 hour drive home. All tasters were pleased.
Will return.

We decided to check-out this winery while visiting the in-laws. We like visiting wineries when we travel. Being a smaller winery, visits/tasting are by appointment only. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised with the unique varieties of wines. Though it was a little rainy, it was still a wonderful winery to visit. Our host, Becky, was very nice and informative. This was definitely worth the visit. We look forward to coming back upon our next trip back.

This 1700-acre park is chock-full of activities and history, housing a former World War II prisoner-of-war camp. Recreation includes fishing, bicycle trails, walking and jogging trails, horse trail rides and hayrides, picnicking and a nature center. Knowledgeable naturalists answer your questions and offer guided hikes and talks.
We visited for a photo shoot of the grand kids. We found multiple areas to capture great images. Many swing sets and tons of green grass and trees. We could see the bike and walking paths and lots of hiking trail heads. Also had quite a few pavilions and grill areas. We need to come back.
