Situated on the Cache La Poudre River along the Colorado Front Range, Fort Collins is located 65 miles (105 km) north of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. Stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing at beautiful Curt Gowdy State Park in southern Wyoming. It is only an hour and 15 minutes from Fort Collins and so nice it is will worth the drive. Lots of camping and mountain biking also.
