Lovely, quirky little shop with all sorts of things you wouldn't find anywhere else. Whenever we are on holiday in Rafford I always make sure I pay a visit here to stock up on little presents to take home - many of which never reach anyone else because I keep them myself, they are just so nice! Staff lovely and friendly, always helpful

Fritha Land is an artist producing dazzling intricately kaleidoscopic work that draws on patterns found in nature, the British landscape, Shamanism, new age religions, science fiction, rave culture and folk art. A skilled draftsperson she is as happy drawing with her beloved Japanese calligraphy pen as she is in front of a Mac. Drawing on a wealth of knowledge in graphics software Fritha cuts and scratches images like a DJ to form patterns that are music to the eye. Fritha Land is often commissioned to create banners for musicians, festivals and events as her work is particularly spectacular at large scale. A range of Fritha Land products as well as gifts and products by other illustrators can be bought at the studio shop located in Forres just outside Findhorn Ecovillage. Ten percent of profits go towards the Rowan Gould Centre whose aim is to facilitate illustrators in making work around sustainability through the provision of residency and exhibition space near Findhorn.
