Azienda Agricola Leonardi Giovanni

Acetaia Leonardi is a family-run business with closed-loop supply chain. The Leonardi Family controls every single step of the process (cultivation, harvest, and pressing of the grapes, cooking of the must, maturation in wooden barrels and final bottling and packaging). Visiting Leonardi is like stepping back in time. Surrounded by grapevines and founded in 1800s Acetaia Leonardi Farmhouse is the place to visit if you want to taste traditional products and breath agricultural atmospheres. Living a “ balsamic experience” means: tours of the vineyards and the “Acetaia”, visit the company’s museum, professional and detailed tutored tastings and matching of balsamic vinegar with typical local food products.

Castello di Formigine

The Castle, with the park inside, is the heart of Formigine’s territory. It is the icon of the community, the main venue of the collective memory, and it's also the town’s salon with numerous possibilities of enjoyment. The Tourist Information Point is aimed at welcoming visitors and is provided with a bookshop, where you may find information on the monument and on tourist itineraries in the province, in the district and in the Castles of Modena network, linking 17 fortified buildings. Inside the Castle, a restaurant and a wine-bar make the whole experience even more enjoyable. Here you may taste the local food specialties. While it used house the Town Council, the stronghold still holds an institutional role (Town Hall, wedding hall, meetings rooms). The prestigious halls of the Castle are rentable for meetings, convention and events. The Castle is also home to the Multimedia Archaeological Museum which stages the historical events through the installations of Studio Azzurro (Milan).
