Enriquez Estate is a family owned micro-winery specializing in limited production Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and White Wine Blends. Located in Forestville at the heart of the Russian River Valley, Enriquez’s magical estate vineyard started life as a cow dairy farm. Dedicated to preserving the rustic charm, tranquility and history of the place, the Enriquez Family kept, converted and improved the existing structures. The old milk barn, now a luxurious two-bedroom vacation rental and the red cow barn was transformed into tasting and event rooms.
My husband and I along with friends very much enjoyed our time visiting Enriquez Wine Estate. The hospitality was the best and we have visited many wineries over the years. Meredith was very knowledgeable about the wines and tasting was the delicious. The setting beautiful, we sat outdoors under the trees with beautiful views of the vines. Enriquez Winery makes delicious wines and we joined the wine club because of our tasting and experience. Owner Cecilia was marvelous and we were thrilled to meet her and learn from her. We highly recommend a visit to Enriquez Estates.

Our group of six enjoyed a wonderful, private wine tasting outdoors in the middle of the beautiful Starscape (formerly Floodgate) Vineyard. The Joseph Jewell wines were delicious, well-made and balanced. Our tasting guide was extremely knowledgable about the wines and the area, and the vineyard setting was perfect. Highly recommended as long as weather permits.

We reserved a Signature Exploration at the Hartford Family Winery. The estate is just beautiful, and we were even more impressed when we saw the table they had prepared for us on the shaded patio. Our tasting host did an excellent job describing the history of the winery and the wines we were tasting. Their web site says that you get to taste six of their unique wines, but we were afforded the opportunity to taste nine! Fortunately, this was our first tasting of the day, so we were able to enjoy every drop! We tasted three chardonnays, two zinfandels, three pinot noirs and one syrah. Our personal favorites were the Fog Dance Chardonnay, the Three Jacks Chardonnay and the Velvet Sisters Pinot Noir.
